Dear Morphometricians,
We’d like to compare individual morphometric and genetic data from AFLP.
One way would be a Mantel-test on covariance matrices from morphometrics
and genetic data. The alternative is to start with two individuum-based
distance matrices. MorphoJ does offer a covariance matrix as output, but
no matrix of Mahalanobis distances between individuals. Any genetic
programs for AFLP data we know offer individual distance matrices as
output, but no covariance matrices as direct output. Is there any idea
how we can bring these two datasets together?
