IDAV Landmark (http://graphics.idav.ucdavis.edu/research/EvoMorph) will
allow you to digitise landmarks on an extracted isosurfaces, and
Checkpoint (made by the same guy,
http://www.stratovan.com/products/detail.php?appID=2) does that plus
allows you to create the isosurface from a CT tiff/dcm stack.

our department has recently acquired a microCT, and we intend to use
it for landmark registration over scanned surfaces. however, it seems
that the software that came with the microCT cannot do this task. I
would like to know if there is any software that can perform such
registration. if it is relevant, the microCT that was bought is a
Skyscan 1176.
thanks in advance,
