I understand landmark software has been left alone since years now. I
guess the troubles you are encountering are due to that.
I strongly suggest to use the Evan Toolbox for what you are trying to
do. It works perfectly well.

Dear colleagues,
I am currently using the Landmark software (IDAV) to work on 3D surface
scans of craniums.
I've been facing some problems with the software: it crashes a lot
especially when I'm trying to obtain a species average.
I tried to run the program on three different computers (laptops and
desktop computers) with different version of windows (XP, Vista and 7),
I reduced the number of faces/triangles of my 3D models, but the
problem
remains.
Does anyone know about this?
