Hi all,
I am looking for software that describes the shape of a closed outline. I have tried 'SHAPE' but the contrast between my specimen (beetle genitalia) and the background isn't good enough, so the program 'found' outlines that were of use or interest. The Alpha version of 'Morpheus' is useful but this will only run on my aging laptop. Also, the coordinate data (done in tpsDIG) had to be completely rearranged for Morpheus. I thought to use the Beta version of 'Morpheus' but have been unable to find a users guide? Finally, I have got hold of a program; EFourier that was created by John Endler. Has anybody used this program and can give my any insights into is utility? Also is it possible to do Fourier analysis using the tps programs?
Many thanks for any suggestions,
Clarissa House
