Dear Winnie,
I am not sure I understand correctly. Do you want to use pictures, place
landmarks, and then use these to perform analyses in MorphoJ? If so:
- Landmarks are to be placed in software other than MorphoJ. MorphoJ is for
analysis, not for aquiring landmark data.
- You can open your pictures as JPG in TPSDig. Then, you place landmarks. The
output file containing the landmark data is a TPS file.
- You can append the landmark data of several individuals into one single TPS
file, using TPSUtil.
- Then, you can use this TPS file (with several individuals) to perform
analyses in MorphoJ.
I hope this clarifies it a bit.
Best wishes,
Viviana

Hello guys,
I am a research assistant and this is my first time dealing with morphometrics.
I know I need to change my wing pictures from Jpeg to tps for me to input them
into MorphoJ for further analysis. I already have tpsUtil and tpsDig2 on my
laptop but I just can’t figure out how to make the conversion do that I put in
the landmarks?
Regards,
Winnie Okeyo.
