I am new to this listserv...I actually heard about it at a recent Staff
Development on Linking Shared Reading and Writing and Guided Reading
groups. I have enjoyed reading all of the tips that you all share with
eachother. I am not familiar with the Daily 5 but you all have inspired me
to put my question out there.

I teach 2nd grade and my team is very diverse in how we teach writing.
Being in Texas, we have the big 4th grade Writing TAKS that is on everyone's
mind. The younger teachers are trying to help the "older" teachers start
writing workshop. Do you all have any tips on how we can address that and
even start Writing Workshop?
