Hi Susan, The STW would definitely benefit that group. The toolkits come in two versions (I think) the lower elementary and the 3-6. You could, of course, adapt the ideas for higher grades. Our 8th grade LA teacher bought one after she saw mine. (I think the publisher (Heinemann--sp?) may be working on one for upper grades.)
