This past year in second grade  I used the Junior Great Books program. This
was for my above kids and I was blessed to have a mom that worked with that
group twice a week. It was great because all the higher level work was
scribed there. The kids seemed to enjoy having their own special books and I
noticed more connections in their discussions too.
