Hello Everyone,
I just read Debbie Miller's?Teaching With Intention and loved it. ?Such a smooth, refreshing read. ?I feel as if I just spent a few days with a friend. One thing she suggests (as does Joanne Hindley in?In The Company of Children) is that the students be a part of organizing books at the beginning of the year. ?That way they'd know what was contained in the classroom library and where everything was. ?At the end of the school year I boxed up many of my books with the intention of having my students reorganize them. ?Yet now I am getting cold feet as I can't seem to figure out a good way to do it without creating complete chaos. ?Does anyone have a day to day plan for such an endeavor? ? I'd appreciate any feedback or advice.
