Kaura, My principal bought one for each classroom. The teachers use it in varying degrees, depending on their background knowledge of writing workshop and their ability to run one in their rooms. If you are new to Writing Workshop, it's great. It has step by step guides for each unit, a script to follow and it moves from intro to drafts to publishing. If you are already experienced in running a tight writing workshop you will find it redundant, with maybe a few valuable resources. Hope that helps, Maureen
