Jackie - I heard Kate Roberts speak this spring at one of the Teachers' College Saturday Reunions about the close reading. She was amazing, funny, and left you wanting more. She actually used the song "Let it Go" from Frozen to have us use 'close reading'. That short hour was the stimulous to get me to buy the book. If you have any written information that you plan to use for your PD this summer, would you be kind enough to send me a copy? Thank you so much.
