If I enter motion in the cmd under Ubuntu I receive:
[0] [NTC] [ALL] conf_load: Processing thread 0 - config file
/usr/local/etc/motion/motion.conf
[0] [NTC] [ALL] motion_startup: Motion Unofficial-Git-a5b5f13 Started
[0] [NTC] [ALL] motion_startup: Logging to syslog
[0] [NTC] [ALL] motion_startup: Using log type (ALL) log level (NTC)
[0] [NTC] [ENC] ffmpeg_init: ffmpeg LIBAVCODEC_BUILD 3670272
LIBAVFORMAT_BUILD 3670272
[0] [NTC] [ALL] main: Thread 1 is from /usr/local/etc/motion/motion.conf
But there is also a motion.conf in etc/motion/
Do I need both?
P.S. Is there a reason why you don't you use Python and Tkinter for the
config?
