Hi
I am new to motion and I am trying around - so far without much success.
I have a Chinese Besder H.264 video camera. From the vendor I received
the following string:
rtsp://192.168.2.101:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?real_stream
(of course without the IP address) and this string works streaming
through SMPlayer but not through VLC.
THe problem is probably that it requires the user admin without
password.
When I try this string with ffplay (ffplay
rtsp://192.168.2.101:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?real_stream)
it does not work with the output:
"rtsp://192.168.2.101:554/user=admin: Invalid data found when processing
input
nan : 0.000 fd= 0 aq= 0KB vq= 0KB sq= 0B f=0/0 "
WHen I try:
ffplay rtsp://192.168.2.101:554/streaming/channels/2 I get the message:
"rtsp://192.168.2.101:554/streaming/channels/2: Invalid data found when
processing input
nan : 0.000 fd= 0 aq= 0KB vq= 0KB sq= 0B f=0/0 "
Of course neither string works together with motion. I cannot turn off
the username request on the camera. So I would appreciate any help from
someone more knowledgeable and I would appreciate if someone would have
a sample camera.conf for IP cameras.
