Hey guys,
I didn't want to put too many of my questions into one e-mail problem, so this
is a different one I'm trying to figure out.
Every time I open Motion in the browser to look at the stream of my cam and
then close or go to another site, I can't open the Motion page again to see
the stream. I have to pull the plug on my cam (I'm using POE on it), count to
10, plug it back in and then I can open that Motion stream page again...until
I either close the browser or just go off surfing or whatever, and then I have
to do it all over again.
Is this some kind of setting in my router or the Motion config file or maybe
the Axis config? I really have tried reading *everything* - Axis's guide, the
Motion guide and looked at *every single tab* of all the stuff in my DD-WRT
router, but nothing I've seen either makes enough sense to me to know if I
should try it or not or just plain and simple looks like I'm trying to read
hieroglyphics, heh.
If I could get an idea of what might make it stop doing this, I can play with
it on each of those config items and see what works. I just don't understand
networking and it goes over my head no matter how much I read or people try to
explain. I don't know why, it's just one of those things...unfortunately.
Again, thanks for any assistance with this.
JB
