Gordon Andersson and I did the afternoon shift at the fair. It was a great day. We had lots of good interaction with the public and handed out almost a full box of magazines. One question stumped us both. We were asked about a bird that calls only at night, gives one call and then is silent. The location is a woody area far from a lake or wetlands, somewhere in mid-Minnesota.
Does anyone know of such a thing. We guessed frogs, insects but the fair goer insisted that it was a bird call. -- Oh no, not another learning experience! Debra J. Wells 6222 Yucca Lane North Maple Grove, MN 55311
