While birding in Dakota County, today, we saw Snow Buntings, and Horned Larks. Our quest was the Gray Partridge, but sadly we were shut out. We watched the area of 180th St. and Joan Ave around 2:15 pm and from 5-6:15 pm.
It was a chilly, but beautiful day, and we walked at Carpenter Park. While there, we saw a pair of immature Bald Eagles soaring overhead. There would be no challenge, if you saw every bird you went after. Birding with Linda Whyte.
