A total of 46 species was found by nearly 30 observers on the Two 
Harbors CBC on Sunday, December 20th.  

Highlights included:
1 Long-tailed Duck (Burlington Bay)
10 Horned Grebes (mouth of Stewart River)
2 Black-backed Woodpeckers (Stony Point and TH airport)
2 Boreal Chickadees (Press Camp Rd, Cedar Rd.)
1 Brown Thrasher (15th Avenue)
1 Chipping Sparrow (Duluth Township - 1st for count)
1 Fox Sparrow (Stony Point)
1 White-crowned Sparrow (2nd Avenue)

We also had record high numbers of Mourning Dove, Red-breasted 
Nuthatch, Cedar Waxwing, Dark-eyed Junco, White-winged Crossbill, and 
American Goldfinch.

Species missed that we usually find included Bufflehead, Common and 
Red-breasted Merganser, Northern Goshawk, Northern Shrike, and 
Evening Grosbeak.
