THIS Sunday 6/13 (oops)

I will be leading a MRVAC field trip to the Cannon River bottoms near Red
Wing. We will hike a little known state forest trail. Target birds seen
here include Wood Thrush, Ovenbird, Cerulean Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, and
Acadian Flycatcher. Bring water, snacks, hat, and bug repellant. All trips
are free and open to anyone. No reservations are needed. We will be
meeting at by 7am.

Directions: From Hwy 52, head east on Hwy 50 toward Red Wing. This road
will join US 61. The road will become a four lane highway, decending the
bluff. Take a left at the first road (CR46) after the Treasure Island
exit. This road is at the bottom of the hill. CR46 also intersects US61 at
the top of the hill, but this is field trip is not at the top, but at the
bottoms.
