Saw two prothonotary warblers this morning.
Thank you Linda Sparling for posting her find on Friday, Aug 6th.
Were exactly where she saw one.  Past picnic shelter, down to river,
across water on dead logs. One way brighter, so probably male and female.
Also chestnut-sided,redstarts, nashville and probable canada.
Was all yellow in front with smudge for necklace and all dark on back.
Didn’t see eye ring as was moving quickly about. Not like the prothonotarys
that were right out in the open over the water on  dead trees without leaves.
