I was also out this morning and did not find the owl. I did see a shrike on 710th St, and another one on Hwy 56 south of Dodge Center.
Returning home, I saw a rough-legged hawk perched in a tree where Hwy 77 crosses the MN River. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to get a photo, as that would have meant stopping on the bridge. -- Liz Stanley Bloomington, MN Backyard weather and feedercam: http://www.overlookcircle.org Photo gallery: http://www.pbase.com/gymell/liz_favorites On Feb 5, 2012, at 12:13, Jason Caddy <j.ca...@hotmail.com> wrote: > I went to look for the Snowy Owl reported on CR 42 west of Hastings without > success.
