Late this afternoon, I took a short drive north of town. On C.R.1, just to the east of the junction of C.R.1 and C.R. 22, there was a flock of about one hundred SANDHILL CRANES, as well as over 1000 CANADA GEESE, a couple of dozen CACKLING GEESE, at least 200 LAPLAND LONGSPURS (with 2 MERLINS diving through the flocks) and 4 NORTHERN HARRIERS.
