Hi Birders, Blue Jays also do a mean Red-shouldered Hawk. We have both on our property and I will not count a Red-shoulder unless I see it. Usually, if it's from the woods it's a Bluejay--from the sky it's a Red-shoulder. By the way, I got my FOY Red-shouldered Hawk yard bird today.
