I'm not in a strong position to concur, because I've been far less able to hit the trail than in other years, but it does seem that the birds spread out over the landscape more, and offered fewer incidents of concentrated fall-outs. It might also be that we're more inclined to share reports when the migrants show up in high numbers or great diversity, or their schedule is very unusual. Linda Whyte
