Wood Duck in the channel between Fountain Lake and Albert Lea Lake. It's hanging with a flock of Mallards.
Brown-headed Cowbird keeping company with House Sparrows in the Hy-Vee parking lot. A few Common Redpolls here and there. A Snowy Owl on County Road 45 just north of Albert Lea. I was unable to relocate. Rough-legged Hawks at Myre-Big Island State Park. Incredibly lovely birds. The lone cafe in Hartland closed its doors. Hysteria reigns.
