Right on cue, the first real summery (warm, humid, buggy) day in my neck of
the woods brought what I often consider to be the first sign of summer,
bird-wise (that being Pewees). It felt early to me, but I checked my notes
and, sure enough, the first Pewee arrivals at my place have all been May
15, 16, or 17. Amazing consistency!

Still waiting on a few spring migrants, but in the meantime summer is here
(in my book) too!
