There is at least one snowy owl still at the MSP airport. I and the person I
was with saw it around 2:30 pm from the airport viewing area. It was at the
edge of a grassy area that you can see from the viewing area. I was able to see
it with my naked eye but you need binoculars or a scope to really get a good
look at it. It was either a female or an immature male. Definitely worth the
trip to see it if you can make it out there. This was a lifer for me, I had
never seen a snowy owl before but had always wanted to, so thanks so much for
passing along the tip, you made a dream of mine from childhood come true today!
Thanks so much!
