I know some people who called the Raptor Center about the owlets at Nokomis. All 3 owlets are dead, and it's confirmed that it was avian flu. The Raptor Center also reported that two adults had died in that general area, but a friend went there after that report was made and saw an adult owl near the nest, still alive. And that was yesterday, so it's possible that by now the last adult has also died.
