Two field trips Fri and Sat mornings, May 20/21 in prairie, wetlands and forests. Friday Hamden Slough field trip includes Greg Hoch's I.D. session with wing samples to differentiate between Greater Prairie Chickens, Sharp-tailed Grouse and hybrids in the field. Itasca State Park field trip Saturday will look for Black-backed Woodpecker and help expand birding checklist at new site La Salle Lake State Rec Area.
