Hi!
This is Kay, Margaret Augustine's daughter. I apologize if this isn't allowed
on your listserve. We have tried to contact people for permission and haven't
received responses and we are running out of time.

My brother and I are helping share out that Mom's downsizing online auction is
now live. She has so enjoyed all her birding friends in MN but is now living in
Iowa in a beautiful retirement community close to me.

This auction thing is a new process for all of us and aren't exactly sure how
to get the information to the right people. It ends on October 5th.

We want to get the word out especially to people who would appreciate and be
interested in the beautiful artwork and other items celebrating our feathered
friends. We also have WWII flight memorabilia, vintage and antique items.

If you know people who might be interested, please forward this email.

It's a very short timeline and we are trying hard to make this successful for
her.

Thank you so much! Enjoy your birding. I saw a flicker today near my home in
Iowa. I hadn't seen one for ages!

I'm posting this on behalf of Madison Tebbe, Exec. Program Asst at the
International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, WI, since I think it will be of
interest to Minnesota birders as well:

The International Crane Foundation is hosting the first annual *Great
Midwest Crane Fest* this fall, November 10th-12th, to celebrate the annual
migration of Sandhill Cranes through Wisconsin. We’ve partnered with the
Aldo Leopold Foundation and we will be hosting crane viewing tours,
wildlife photography workshops, conservation lectures, nature walks, etc.
