Yes, the Mozart project is quite alive. We don't have the habit
of making releases every month, but we are still alive! We are
doing Mozart implementation in the SELFMAN project, see
www.ist-selfman.org. The AVISPA group in Colombia is also doing
Mozart implementation.

We have several new things for Mozart in the works that we will
be announcing this year:
- French translation of part of CTM + software support for
  learning programming
- New distribution support for Mozart
- New peer-to-peer library that is more robust
- New GUI tool (I hope!)

I don't know about German documents for Mozart.

Hi Udo,

To complement the answer of Peter, you can check the Mozart development infrastructure that is hosted at [EMAIL PROTECTED] In particular, check the wiki for more description of the running projects related to Mozart:
http://gforge.info.ucl.ac.be/plugins/wiki/index.php?id=17&type=g

To answer some of your questions, in the Mozart gforge pages there is support for Forums and mailing lists. We do not use the forums because we feel that it is enough with the two main mailing lists we are currently using: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]

There is no concrete plan for Mozart in Windows Vista, but this is because none of us has a machine with that OS, and we would also need some time to port the graphical part. There are some students here at UCL that can run Mozart on Vista without Tcl/Tk support, so they can't run {Browse foo}, but they can do {Show foo}.

cheers
Boriss

Hello gentleman,

Before I spend more time to learn Mozart-oz, I am interested on the answer of
the following questions.

The last version of Mozart-oz was distributed a year ago. Is the project a
life? If yes, where can I find the roadmap? When is Mozart-oz available for MS
Vista?

I visited the page www.mozart-oz.org to get fist information. Are there more
pages, newsgroups or a forum of interest available?

I know the project language is USA English but if there are some germen
documents, let me take a look. Thanks

Regards,

Udo Bartschat
