1) Collozeum

I'd go for this one.

I really like how it contracts words for several aspects of this project! However, gladiatorial contests -- the purpose of the place which Collozeum points to (i.e., Colosseum) -- such contests should have nothing to do with our intentions for this project ;-)

Being the "Kulturbanause" I am, I didn't know Gillikin before.
To me, it sounds a bit like the "ingroup" language frequently
found in the Mac world that leaves others wondering "what are
they talking about now again?". Also, it has too many "i"s. ;-)

Now, programming language communities speak "ingroup-languages" anyway ;-) I just very much like the name of our language -- Oz. The wizard of Oz does great magic. In the end, however, he concedes that it's all a great "humbug", and that the means which he uses are pretty much down-to-earth things. Still, his magic works! So, I at least would like to have a name which is somehow related to the Oz story (like the name Gump for Oz' front-end generator, http:// www.waltdisneysreturntooz.com/Gump.htm). Concerning the "Kulturbanause", I must confess that I didn't know the proper name of the place Gillikin either (I only knew it as the "purple country" before).

Also, it has too many "i"s.

:) I actually like these "i"s -- sounds like a bunch of people hammering in some small manufacture. We are talking about "the most industrially developed region in the Land of Oz"...

Best
Torsten
