Dear list,
namely thanks to Torsten and Glynn for your hints,
after several rounds of late-night trial & errors, my Oz meanwhile runs,
even without manual compilation. To be honest, I ran into superfluous
trouble because in my first rush, I had first touched the MacOSX PPC
packages... Macports did a good job, but took me a second look to
realize *where* its installation was hidden.
;(
I think that the next Intel Mac / macport user would benefit from
somewhat
better recipe on the download web pages. Who can we bother with
writing the corresponding couple of lines? Another question, how can
I find out who created the macport port? ;-)
