Hi Stewart,

I suggest you get registered to the mozart-hackers mailing list. We are going to start a discussion about moving Mozart-Oz repository to github, and that will change the way of contributing to the project. So, it's a good opportunity to kick-off 64 bit support.

cheers
Boriss

Peter I hear you.

If you would guide me I will assist in adding support.

Kind regards

Supporting 64 bits would require going through the emulator code and
carefully changing all pointer types. This is not so easy because
tagged pointers are used everywhere and are not always declared as they
    should be!

Some day we would like to do this, but we don't have the man-power to do
    it right now, unfortunately!

    Peter

That's great, thanks very much! We will give you a road map on what exactly
has to be done. Yves Jaradin knows the emulator well and can give you help.

Peter
