BTW, will the OPI still be emacs based?
Personally I like the emacs interface (or perhaps have just got used
to it) but I think that the use of an established IDE, perhaps like
Eclipse, would do wonders for uptake.
I am curious to see how difficult(/easy?) this would be to do...
One more thing: Any news on the graphics subsystem? Will it still be
Tk based? Or is there anything else on the Horizon.

For Mozart 2, the OPI will still be emacs and graphics will still be
Tk-based.
