I would like to see a clear path to how I can get my CA certificates in

Stephen, if you haven't already done so, I suggest you do these steps:

1. Get yourself registered with bugzilla.mozilla.org, so that you can
file a "bug" (enhancement request). You'll find some links to get
started on bugzilla's home page.

2. File a "bug" about this. Settings as follows:

Product: NSS
Version: 3.9 (the current version)
Component: Libraries
Platform: All
O.S.: All
Severity: Enhancement
Assign to: Let the web page pick the current assignee.
CC: Leave blank
URL: The URL for your CA could go here.
Summary: "Add QuoVadis CA cert to builtin trusted CA list"

Description: (Add a brief paragraph about your CA, how many root
CA certs you have, maybe a bit about the steps you take to protect
your private keys, your different "classes" of certs (if you have
them), and how your decide (for each class, if relevant) whether or
not to issue the cert (that is, whether the applicant is the named
party). I suggest you mention what revocation facilities you have
(CRLs, OCSP, etc.) This should be about a page long, or less.
It should be just enough to convince the mozilla foundation that
you're a serious CA. No great discussion needed. That will take
place later, by email or other means.)

Depends on: 233453 (put that number in there)
Blocks: leave blank.
Security Sensitive Bug: Do not check this (it would hide your bug)

Click "Commit".

3. Then continue to participate in this newsgroup.

I'd also suggest that you add a single attachment to your bug,
a text/plain file that contains your CA's root certs in base64
encoded form, with the usual ----BEGIN CERTIFICATE--- and
----END CERTIFICATE--- lines intact.

Some suggested do's and don'ts:

1. Don't put lots of advocacy or other discussion in the bug.
2. DO respond there to any questions asked of you by mozilla
   foundation members (mozilla.org staff).
3. Don't get hundreds of your friends to register their email addresses
with bugzilla, and then add them all to the bug's CC list. That will
not help your cause, and it WILL upset the mozilla staffers who have
to deal with the problems when the bugzilla mailer gets stuck, as it
sometimes does on huge cc lists.
