Any idea where things are at with Frank he's been a little quite on the subject...
I'm very sorry, my family responsibilities have been rather overwhelming the past few weeks (and will likely stay that way for the next few months). Hence I haven't gotten anything useful done since my last set of postings to the group.
I am now trying to restart things and do what I can in whatever little spare time I possess. As noted previously, my immediate goal is to get a new draft of the policy done, so that we can finalize it.
As for actually implementing the policy, I think Nelson's suggestion of filing bugs in Bugzilla (one bug per CA cert request) is the best way to proceed. Unfortunately I will not have time to participate in discussions around each bug. If consensus is reached in the bug discussions (in other words, there is a suitable amount of public discussion, and no one objects to including the CA certificate) then someone should just go ahead and arrange for the cert to be actually included in the next version of Mozilla. I'll defer to Nelson, choffman, etc., on how best to coordinate that between the various parties (NSS developers, mozilla.org staff, etc.).
Frank
