We are experiencing problems when using the sdk with Novell NDS 8.x
(Netware 5.1 SP2).
The search calls hang at random , although it functions well at most
times.
(may be after prolonged inactivity on a connection to the LDAP server,
or other reasons not tracable).
Earlier postings in this newsgroup point to memory leaks when using
Netscape SDK, and NDS. Apparently they report that problem was
eliminated by using Novell's SDK.
We are on a platform for which novell's ldap kit (& shared libraries) is
not available (Compaq Alpha 4.0.x, unix)
The Netscape C ldapsdk does not seem to have updated since Dec 98.
Any suggestions ?
