Hi. I was just looking at the Mozilla.org page on the Directory, but didn't really find anything substantial about ongoing development efforts. Can someone point me at it?
In the mean time, I was wondering about what the feasibility of storing bookmarks, cookies, and email filters (for FF and TB, respectively) would be, rather than storing them into flat files. (Perhaps also a framework so that Extensions like adblocker can save filtering info without being LDAP aware...) Part of the reason is that I work on a cluster of computers, and having to move bookmarks, etc. around is a pain... And because these machines (which are used for developing and testing installers) get "reset" to a fresh image on a regular basis. I'm sure there are more reasons that other people might be interested, such as synching up info between a desktop, a laptop, a palmtop, and (perhaps even) a cellphone. Am I tripping?
