How many do I have to name?
- Fine grained, simple user management. Big, big win. Enormous. Colossal.
This will drop the contribution barrier to entry massively, allow
delegation of website section maintenance etc. etc.
- All the benefits of CVS - logging, rollback, versioning etc. - with a
nice web-based interface.
- No nasty hacky sitebuild wrapper scripts - it all comes built in, and
changes show up immediately rather than "in about 20 minutes".
- zope.org are helping us implement it.
- Site interactivity. Another big win. Users can annotate that XUL
reference with errata and tips.
I could go on, but I won't. This decision has been made, and it's about
the only one that has. We are not revisiting it :-) <puts foot down>
