He, and I, have a problem with an HTML editor that insists that its valid HTML output is the *only* valid HTML for the page. A tilde is not required to be escaped; <b> and <i> are nondeprecated elements of HTML 4. Those of us who frequently switch between WYSIWYG and source views would like the source to look something like we would have written ourselves.

Eighty bucks, but probably more coherent. (I haven't been able to justify buying it myself, but it gets good reports from the pros I know who use it.)
