I downloaded v1.7 in expectation of finding a FORMS toolbar option, but there isn't
one there! Can't find anything in the menus either.
NVU has a forms toolbarbutton, although the dialogs have the same issues as they do in Mozilla.
And does that allow you to generate a new form from scratch at the cursor position?
I believe so.
Am I missing something? Where is this "limited form support"?
Only for existing form elements or those inserted using Insert->HTML (which is currently the only reliable way to edit form fields) can you select the element and use Format/Properties.
Ah! Yes! Now I've tried opening an existing page I see that I can right-click to find
appropriate dialogue boxes.
I was looking for something for a HTML naive newbie to use to create a site from
scratch, rather than edit existing pages.
Arrgh! Just found a FORM PROPERTIES dialogue and it's all truncated - Now I see what you mean... I'll try to re-create it! Is this the kind of thing you are talking about?
I can't remember all the issues but I know that the textarea dialog
amongst others has a habit of deleting the textarea you're trying to edit.
