Hi John,
Yeah I'm not very impressed with the installer either. I'd also like to share any GRE already installed. I also want a seamless installer for my apps that doesn't stop to ask where to install the control.
It should be possible to figure out which files are needed by the control (and added by the installer) and create a suitable installer that can use any already installed GRE. I just haven't got round to it yet.
