Plugins

For the life of me I cannot get mozilla build from 5/02 to see any
 plugin other than libnull.  I go to HELP - About Plugins, that one is
 listed and is stored in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (if I rename it, it
 shows up renamed, so it's seeing the right dir)  Linux, Mandrake 8.0
 
 Put any others there; they don't show up in the HELP ABOUT area; nor do
 they work, go to any page with Shockwave or Java, prompts to d/l.
 Driving me NUTZ!  Worked fine under .81 build.
