When I first read about the announcement of the name, I immediate though 
someone is going to draw wrong conclusions about the relationship 
between Mozilla nad Windows technologies.

Unix, Linux, X11 and Mac OS X all have an 'X'. Microsoft wants to have 
one, too.

XP is also short for extreme programming and experience points. If you 
interpret the letters as Greek letters, you get Chi Rho. Microsoft 
already has a product called Word.
