I'm having the same porblem using 0.9.2 - none of the plugins I put into 
the /usr/local/mozilla/plugins directory are available for use (do not 
appear in 'about:plugins")- the exception to this is the libnullplugin.so - 
if I remove the file it disappears from the browser.

I've tried setting the CLASSPATH, JAVA_HOME, PATH variables - they all 
point to the correct places

weird... - on a preious Linux install they worked ok under 0.9.1

Help or Psychiatric advice appreciated
