Not a bad idea, and many programs implement just this sort of thing (Word comes to mind, hasn't crashed on me ever that I can recall). In the Netscape I mean Mozilla context though, the problems of such a feature are twofold: 1. It would simply cause the editor to crash even more often, probably right during the middle of the save, so you'd lose anway. 2. It would divert already nonexistent resources from the pathetically needed task of actually FIXING THE GODFORSAKEN THING. My grandkids aren't going to live forever, and I'd like them to at least see a usable, if completely irrelevant, Netscape I mean Mozilla before the silver cord parts. -- Gary "JTK" Van Sickle Brewer.
