I installed the one that came up when I clicked on the empty Java applet in Mozilla (which didn't work until I followed your advice). That installed Sun's 1.3.1 JRE, which I believe is the latest version., and is surprisingly slow when compared to what I'm used to with Netscape 4.7 and older.
