I'm sorry to add to the bandwidth on this issue, but I want the person
who is doing this to know this:

Sir/Madam --

You have added an annoyance to my life and the lives of everyone who
frequent this newsgroup, and most of us, even in your own eyes, do not
deserve it. Whatever problem you may have with anyone here, I do not
believe that I did anything to earn your spite. So why take it out on
people who did nothing to you?

Can you not find a way to wage whatever battle you obviously need to
wage with the people you have a problem with, rather than including
innocent bystanders?

It hurts to see a forum dedicated to a magnificent open-source project
be turned into a swamp of dross, and that's what you did. I cannot
believe that your actions are something that you, in your heart of
hearts, feel proud of. If you have it in you, please try to be decent.

If you are not capable even of trying to be decent, I suspect that
you're going to acquire enemies. I'm not interested in being your
enemy, but isn't it possible that some irritated person out there has
the means to make your life very unpleasant? Are you sure that's what
you want?

If you make the effort to behave in a civil manner, you may be surprised
at the result. Try it and see. Meanwhile, please leave us in peace.

Sincerely
Rupert James
