I've added the beginnings of a HTTP caching FAQ for mozilla at http://mozilla.org/projects/netlib/http/http-caching-faq.html. I want to use this document as a way to answer some of the common questions that we get concerning mozilla's caching logic. This includes: what we cache, how we determine the expiration time of a cached document, what we do with redirects, etc. Please let me know if there are specific things you'd like to see addressed in this document. Again, it is just a work in progress at the moment.
