Robert, what operating system are you using?
On linux I had no problems getting Java to work, just XPInstalled it and
it worked.
On win32 I had to copy the NPOJI600.dll over to my mozilla/plugins
directory to get it to work I think.
On Mac I always just copy my 4.x plugins folder over to the Mozilla
install folder and quicktime seems to work just fine.
